Only buy for pets under 10 lbs.Jul 18, 2009
I purchased the sling after reading the on-line reviews. I looked at other sites and they were much more money and I didn't want frilly designs on mine. I like to walk, and we have a 6-7 lb. chihuahua named Bonita. She likes to walk... most of the time. She gets bucky sometimes and just doesn't feel like walking any longer. So I had to pick her up and carry her for the rest of our walk. Well, I thought this was the purfect product for us. I like it, she likes it also. She is so cute with her head sticking out. The bag is made of back pack material and of good quality. The improvements I would make are making it 2 inches deeper and a pocket you can actual put poop bags, keys and change in on the side. The little label you see on the front of the bag is the pocket they speak of in the description. It could hold a credit card and some change maybe. Overall me and Bonita seem happy with it. I would save your money if you pet is over 10 pounds. I could not see using it on this size pet.

The product is excellent. well made and strong. It would have been wonderful if it had been sent in packaging that would prevent the receiver from cutting it when trying to open the package.

I HAVE A 13 WEEK OLD YORKIE AND SHE HASNT LIKED BAGS BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO CONFINED. THIS SLING SHE DOESNT MIND. I TOOK HER FOR A LONG WALK AND IT WAS PERFECT. AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME IT CAN GET UNCOMFORTABLE, BUT OVERALL GREAT BAG AND DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY:)

Great product!
I had ordered the sling for my 8 lb. 13 y.o. dachshund. I figured I'd receive the product within 1 1/2 to 2 weeks; enough time for an event I was taking my dog to. I got it within a week which worked out perfectly because a last minute trip was planned and I was able to take the sling along. She sits very comfortably in it. I like the way it sits close to the body as this is comforting for my dog.

I ordered this hoping I'd have a low maintenance, non-frilly bag for my 8lb little one. I wanted one that would fit her long body (she's a shih tzu) and not give her a stiff neck at the same time. This bag is like a fabric canoe...or hammock...Although there is a strap across the top (presumably to hold her in? There's also a hook on either side to latch onto a collar) I worry that she could still fall out or jump out. Also, I don't know if it's because it's super stretchy, but I had to shorten the strap a LOT to make sure the bag didn't swing down by my knees.
I wish the bottom were sturdier. I will probably add a small folded blanket or something to the bottom to give it a little more structure and padding.
This bag is okay. You get what you pay for. I still feel like there are better, more attractive bags out there that simultaneously aren't frilly, overpriced lame Juicy Couture monstrosities.
